Tallinn Airport (Estonian Tallinn airport, IATA: TLL, ICAO: EETN) or Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport (Estonian Lennart Meri Tallinn airport) is the largest airport in Estonia. It is the home airport for Estonia as well as the popular hub for AirBaltic and LOT Polish Airlines, Finnairlines, SAS etc. Tallinn Airport is open to both domestic and international flights.
Airport is located 5 km southeast of the centre of Tallinn on the eastern shore of Lake Ülemiste – close enough to be considered a city airport as the city centre (Old Town) is extremely close to it. It was formerly known as Ülemiste Airport.
Public transport to the Tallinn city centre (old town) from the Tallinn Airport:
- bus (From Arrivals, once you get on the street, walk 5 minutes to the right to the bus stop, BUS #2 (2 EUR ticket), you can pay with your bank card using the orange validator inside the bus.
- taxi on exit (12-15 EUR to the center)
- (recommended) taxi app Uber (5-7 EUR to center) I want to invite you to try Uber rides with a 15 EUR off your first 5 trips. Get where you’re going with affordable, convenient rides. All you have to do is use my unique referral link: https://referrals.uber.com/refer?id=81c47e9q31uz
Alternatively you can use Bolt app. (sorry, I have no referral links for this)
- walk to the city centre (abt 30-45 minutes). Not recommended with heavy luggage.
